Housing offerings focus on three and four-plus bedroom layouts alongside detached homes. About two thirds of structures are single detached homes while mobile homes are common. Nearby public green spaces include Lake Houston Park and several other outdoor areas for exploration. Local conveniences paired with a serene residential character create broad neighborhood charm.

Huffman is an excellent postal city to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. The noise levels in Huffman are especially low, as the streets are usually very calm. It is very difficult to get to parks in the postal city since they aren't well-spread out. Still, there are around 20 parks close by for residents to enjoy.
